Ball Lily - May Flower (Scadoxus multiflorus) at my Home

Ball lily flower blooms once in a year in the month of May hence May flower. Scadoxus multiflorus  syn. (Hemanthus multiflorus )is a beautiful flowering bulb . After a dormancy period in the winter, the unusual flower heads emerge in the summer, coming out of the ground with no leaves.
